Gloria Palace San Agustín Thalasso & Hotel

Nice hotel, nice location, very clean, friendly staff, good pool areas, fresh water in rooms daily, easy check in/check out, 9th floor terrace was lovely, fab entertainment, good shower facilities for freshening up on check out day so no need to worry about a late check out room,

We have just returned from a fab week at the Gloria. It's the first time we have stayed in a hotel that's not adults only so were slightly worried about screaming children lol. I can honestly say all kiddies were so well behaved we were stunned. So things that we found to be first class were: Cleanliness, top notch! Our room was cleaned daily by Eva who was absolutely fantastic. Clean sheets twice in a week, towels and water every day and room impeccable. Cleanliness of hotel also amazing. Everyone took such pride in their jobs. Entertainment was great fun. Michael Jackson was superb as were most acts. Drinks brought to your table and glasses removed with great efficiency. Swimming pools extremely clean. Sunbeds, all cleaned daily and lots of them. Many areas to choose from to. Restaurant very clean, food topped up fast at breakfast and dinner. No areas empty at anytime. Waitresses and waiters also amazing. Drinks served fast and plates cleared immediately. With a smile. Only thing I would say is a greater variety of food would be appreciated. Salad bar and puddings were fabulous and the vest bit for us. We were half board so can't comment on lunch. Bedroom HUGE and landed out amazingly. We found the hotel bus service to be awesome but we also used public buses to go further away and they were easy to use and super cheap. We also loved the area as its close enough to walk to playa de ingles but lovely and peaceful around the hotel. We booked the holiday 11 hours before we went so had no idea what to expect but we're blown away by how fab it was. The upstairs adults only area is beautiful and the barman is awesome. I could go on and on but if in doubt give it a go were so glad we did.

Chose this hotel because I had been to sister hotel in Amadores. Went with two girl friends and was not disappointed. Would give 91/2 out of 10 for my visit as we all enjoyed all the whole hotel had to offer including spa. Only let down was how slippery the tiles around the pool and steps were when they got wet. Saw some people fall over and even slipped on the stairs myself but luckily was holding onto wall as hand rail very hot. Perhaps it’s better not to wear flip flops that have smooth soles. Staff all very pleasant and helpful.Food was good and drinks were excellent. We were on Premium all inclusive. Walked down to beach and on way back came through the shopping centre a floor at a time so only small hill left to encounter from the main road. Had an evening drink up on chill out rooftop which was lovely as the sun went down and lights came on in the town. We would all visit here again.

Very nice hotel very clean most staff friendly few miserable people in restaurant beautiful rooms and good maid service good pools all salt water food good lot of choice Very disappointed with drink all inclusive + says branded drinks no way there were we find all watered down and soft drinks fantastic and coke all on tap where disgusting x pool bar served paper cups for pool side . No porters available to help with luggage bit annoying when arrive late and especially for elderly people and family’s . Would definitely visit again san Augustin not much there most shops shut and quite a steep walk back to hotel. Was a pleasant stay as we only booked 5 days before

The hotel is beautiful with everything and you need and more. It’s so clean and there are always people cleaning/mopping. Staff are so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us and my two year old daughter. One of the waiters Fran would always have our table set up in the restaurant with a high chair and child friendly plate, cup and cutlery. The food is amazing and there is so much choice. Everything was always quickly replenished. Pool area was so clean and my little one loved it along with many other child friendly activities throughout the day. We used the free bus service a few times into Maspalomas and Playa Del Ingles. A great service. The hotel also has a pharmacy, hairdresser and shop which we used. Entertainment in the evening was always brilliant and my daughter loved the children’s disco. I used the spa which was beautiful. I can’t rate this hotel enough. We had the best holiday here and are looking to return next year.
